GCI’s entrepreneurial thinking is not only reflected in the way we approach consulting or financing challenges, but can also be seen in our own investment portfolio.

Through GCI BridgeCapital AG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GCI Management AG, we selectively acquire and hold interests in medium-sized industrial companies in the German-speaking world. We choose what we consider to be good opportunities and pursue a proactive management style during our engagement. Should we feel that we are not able to execute a transaction on our own, we can fall back on our network of carefully chosen co-investors.

Our style of active management dictates that we’re usually interested in a majority share. In some cases, however, as in “consulting-for-equity” or capital market activities (a stock listing, for example), we are willing to accept a minority holding position.
